Natural Blonde - S/T

Recorded in their home state of Louisiana, Natural Blonde’s LP has been a work in progress for three years, accumulating sounds that range from experimental to pop to 60’s psyche. Lyrically, the tracks are like looping journal entries that trace memories good and bad, dreams of euphoria, love and escape. The ever-present existential struggle in life and relationships are thematically represented throughout the album's pace and rhythm, which is heavy at times, light and buoyant in others. Natural Blonde (Jordan Odom, Winston Willingham) surveys the land below from a distance made up of time, with a groovy and upbeat melody and there is no danger in exploring, as the album does, the tricks and distortion of memory.
